Looking for Thai/Buddha Amulet in rod shape?
Actually I want to look for more information about the thai/buddha amulet in rod shape in internet but cannot search because dont know what is it call. It is made of metal/iron and contain some amulet inside. Sometimes it has carved pattern outside. Do you happen to know its name? thank you

I personally don't believe in amulets having any power in my Buddhist practice but I thought I'd try to get you an answer. There are many different Thai Buddhist amulets that are encased to protect the amulet itself. From your description it seems you are describing a "takrut".
"Takrut Thai amulets are hardly known in Europe, this is one of the oldest protective amulets. Usually a Takrut is an elongated amulet generally made of metal, which has inscribed Pali protection-, luck- and blessing formulars by the monks. They come in different sizes, shapes and materials.
Here are the main Takrut shapes: They can be a belt to be wrapped around the waist underneath the clothing, a pendant, a bracelet (Sai Sin), a cartridge that goes into your pocket or Leklai that is placed in the inside of the upper arm, under the skin, by a monk."
