i read that around 1912 a man in his boat sailing down the colorado river found?
....excavations in a Mountain top that supposedly held the remains of Pharaohs and their treasures,the man told the Smithsonian museum and they covered it up......if it is true isn't that proof that africans made it here long before columbus.
also in vera cruz new mexico they have found huge sculptures of african warriors and chiefs that again predates columbus by over two thousand years. what do you think?
Read, where? On the internet? There is something that needs to be said. This stuff you would never find in any publication. I would expect this to of come from some odd website run by crazy people. Yet they will explain it in such a way to make themselves sound more intellegent then they are. This is the only place where conspiricy theories can gain traction and they are in essence removed from scrutiny by sceptics or people who don't have some sort of mental problem.
As for columbus there have been recordings of people finding the new world before him. Vikings found Greenland 1000 years before columbus and this has been well recorded http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norse_colonization_of_the_Americas It has also been concluded that Portuguese explorers found America nearly a century before columbus. But colonization never took place or was on an extremly small scale.
But with the internet you need to be sceptical of what you see.
