I love stained glass and glass carving/glass etching.Is there a single school/workshop for these:low cost.?
I just graduated with a degree in art,I may not be able to afford another degree program but I may be able to pay for just these subjects.I'm from west Africa.I'm also intrested in exchanging some stone sculptures for books,videos and especially tools.
You don't say where you live now, but here in the U.S. there are many cottage industry places that not only sell stained glass/carving/etching and blowing, but they also usually teach classes on the side to make ends meet and much can be learned from a artisian in that area and the prices vary depending on where you live. I live in the Midwest and there are even classes through Continuing Education courses at less than $100 for a 6 week courses and they are taught by artists who own their own shops and have lot of hands on experience.
