It depends what it is, how much I like it, how big it is, if it's framed and ready to hang... There are a lot of factors in deciding how much or if I would buy it. If it's a print (Lithograph, etching, relief, etc...) I would always pay less than an original painting or sculpture.

I'm a student right now so I don't have a lot of money. Right now, I would pay up to 200 or 300 USD. (sorry I'm not 100 percent sure how many pounds... I think it would be 100- 150 pounds).
...but I would only buy a piece of art work if I couldn't live without it... as I am a student and very poor. If I was wealthy I would pay thousands if it was worth it.

If I were going to sell one of my own pieces... again it would depend if it was a print or a painting or sculpture. It also depends on size and how long it took me to complete. Some I would sell for a hundred USD, some I would sell for a thousand!
