I have made sculpture of my face in computer by a software .now what should I do to use marble powder etc ..?
to complete my creation by help of computer .
I want to make a piece of art by help of computer Sir. Thanks.
while the above is an explanation of body casting it does not explain how you get your model out of a computer.
the techniques for that fall under the term "rapid prototyping" and if you look that up you will find a lot of information.
There are 3D printers and CNC milling machines, either could be suitable for what you want to do. 3D printers can work in various ways, they can extrude a substance like wax or plastic and build a 3D model up in that way. Or they spread some resin powder in a chamber and print by adding binder only in the places the structure is getting printed. This is cool, as you can print a ball in a ball etc (as long as you leave a small hole to shake the remaining powder out). Those printers are still expensive to use. And they themselves are expensive enough, so that as an average person you won't want to buy one. There are companies which do print things for people, you can look if you find one. By now most universities have some (check engineering, architecture and art departments), that would probably the cheapest option if they agree to help you. Also look in CNC milling machines, the drawback with those is that they can't do undercuts, but that ought not to be a big problem with a face. Its probably cheaper, especially if you want something larger.
Generally you have to decide what system you use and make sure you 3D file is going to be saved in a format which is compatible with your printing machine (usually .stl extension, check if your program even saves in this format). This is not necessarily easy, depending if your 3D program makes the correct type of mesh or not (no intersecting triangles, all points can only be connected by 3 lines, no less or more and so on). There are programs as well which can help you to fix and repair your mesh, but they are expensive as well.
I just remember that the company Z-corp used to offer one free trial print for advertisement to anybody. I don't know if they still do that, maybe not, but you could check it out.
You probably get a faster result if you follow the body casting instructions....
