100% silk scarves with hand rolled edges are carefully hand painted or dyed by Gretchen with permanent dyes. I work with habotai silk (also called china silk) in an 8mm weight, which is very sheer and flowing material, and crepe de chine 14mm. The crepe de chine is a bit heavier, drapes very well, and has a slightly crinkled texture. The scarves are approximately 12”x60”. Being the most versatile of scarves, many design options are available in haboti and crepe de chine.
