Guffey Colorado is a small friendly mountain town located less than one mile off of CO HWY 9 at mile marker 21. Eleven mile reservoir is just up the road, Cripple Creek is just over the hill, and the Royal Gorge is just down the hill, we are centrally located and an easy drive to many of Colorado’s best attractions. Stop by and visit our town of Guffey.


	Overnight accommodation in rustic 1800’s cabins, camping under the stars, three restaurants and two bars, Post Office and public phone, Guffey has the only services for twenty five miles in any direction.


		We’re right in the middle of Colorado just a mile off of the Adventure Cycling Association’s Trans-America Bicycle Trail, and we’re well worth the pedal.

This years activities will include the “Chicken Fly,” the “Chicken Drop,” and the “Chicken Rollin’ Alley.”
Food hot off the grill all day, Sourdough Burgers, Hot Dogs, Ribs, and Eggs.
We need sponsors for chickens and young people to fly them. Trophies will be awarded.
See the historic Guffey Jail and City Hall. We will Have commemorative T-shirts for sale.
